As part of SharkNinja’s transition to Suite Studios, its existing cloud media library needed to be migrated while more than 300 users and groups were recreated with the same custom permission structure they had relied on in the previous system.
Treat identity and permissions as part of the migration.
As a Solutions Architect at Suite Studios, Gerry assisted with the 200+ TB data migration and owned user and group provisioning. Existing access patterns were mapped into the new environment, with SCIM used to streamline provisioning while preserving the required group-level and user-level permissions.
After migration and provisioning, Gerry helped lead new-user onboarding sessions, supported the transition, and troubleshot issues as teams moved into the new platform.

The data migration was completed over four weeks. More than 300 users were provisioned in two days, followed by two days of onboarding. All users successfully transitioned with the same permissions they had in the previous system.
